Moskvich cars will be used in cabs in Cuba. As the capital deptrans reported on November 25 in its Telegram-channel, the corresponding memorandum of intentions was signed by Moscow Deputy Mayor for Transport Maxim Liksutov and Minister of Transport of the Republic of Cuba Eduardo Rodriguez Davila.

According to Liksutov, Moscow is ready to provide Cuban colleagues with a batch of 50 cars and assess the possibility of adapting their multimedia systems to Spanish.

Taxi parks are planned to be organized in the cities of Havana and Varadero. A working group has been formed to prepare the business model of the project and determine the order of return on investment of its participants.

"Our cars successfully work in cab and carsharing, in city and federal services and agencies. They have proven themselves in operation and maintenance," - said Deputy Mayor of Moscow on transport.

November 18, it was reported that the car plant "Moskvich" may postpone the start of sales of a new seven-seat crossover with the index 8 next year. According to experts, it is expected that the cost of the novelty will range from 2.8 million to 3 million rubles depending on the configuration. Initially, the plant "Moskvich" stated that it plans to start production and sales of the novelty at the end of 2024. "Moskvich 8" became the fourth model of the revived brand.

In August, Maxim Zlatokrylets, commercial director of the capital's automobile plant, said that "Moskvich" adheres to the plan on the volume of car sales in 2024 at the level of 27 thousand units and plans to keep prices for cars at least until the end of 2024.
