In the capital after reconstruction 13 children's and adult polyclinics located in different districts of the city have started working, said the mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

The polyclinics in question are located in the districts of Solntsevo, Kryukovo, Savelki, Voykovsky, Lomonosovsky, Konkovo, Ivanovskoye, Kuzminki, Mozhaisky, Severnoe Medvedkovo, Vykhino-Zhulebino, Brateevo, Otradnoe. More than 440 thousand people are served there.

Sobyanin emphasized that now polyclinics work according to the new Moscow standard. "The head buildings were additionally equipped with X-ray densitometer, computer and magnetic resonance tomographs, expert-class ultrasound machines, endoscopic equipment", - said the mayor.

He added that much attention was paid to the improvement of territories. For example, near the entrances to children's polyclinics planted fir trees, which will be decorated with illumination in the New Year holidays.

In January, Sobyanin said that during the second stage of a large-scale program of renewal of polyclinics in Moscow it is planned to reconstruct 137 medical institutions. At the first stage the reconstruction works were carried out in 200 polyclinics. "Realizing the social significance of such a project, we do it in the shortest possible time without compromising quality. This year we expect to launch 100 polyclinics, fully reconstructed, equipped with new equipment", - said the mayor.
