Fighter Romankevich called Johnson the favorite in his fight with Minakov

Mixed martial arts fighter Peter Romankevich on Tuesday, November 26, named U.S. native and Russian citizen Kevin Johnson the favorite in a fight on the gala show "REN TV Fight Club. Super Series" against MMA legend Vitaly Minakov.

"There is always a chance, but, of course, Kevin Johnson is the favorite in this fight, as he is a professional boxer and has a lot of experience," said the athlete.

Romankevich noted that despite Johnson's advantage, he wishes Minakov victory.

The boxing tournament will be held in Moscow at the Megasport Palace. MMA fighter's fight with Johnson will be the main event of the evening. Boxer Alexei Papin and American fighter Greg Hardy will meet in a consensual bout. Also European champion and two-time Russian boxing champion Sergey Kuzmin and professional boxer Murad Khalidov will enter the ring.

Live broadcast of the event will begin on REN TV at 23:30.

On the eve of the sports commentator Alexander Sadokov said that Johnson has a big advantage in the fight with Minakov. He noted that both athletes are great masters who have their own strengths.
