Media reported shelling of US military base in Syria

The US military base in the area of al-Shaddadi in northeastern Syria was subjected to rocket fire. This was reported by Mehr news agency on November 25, citing sources.

It is noted that several missiles were fired at the facility. Sounds of explosions were heard on the territory of the military facility.

There was no information about the damage and casualties.

Earlier, on November 11, it was reported that the U.S. military base in the area of the oil field El-Omar in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor was shelled. Prior to that, on October 27, Al Jadeed TV channel reported about Iraqi UAV strikes on a US military base in Syria.

Attacks on U.S. bases in the Middle East became more frequent amid the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, in which the U.S. supported Israel.
