A Chinese resident was found to have a dice in his nasal cavity after 20 years

A man in China was found to have a dice in his nose after nearly a month of incessant runny nose, which he inhaled 20 years ago. This was reported by the South China Morning Post(SCMP) on Tuesday, November 26.
According to the newspaper, the young man had been suffering from chronic sneezing, nasal congestion and a constant runny nose for about a month. After unsuccessful attempts to treat him with traditional Chinese medicine, he sought medical help at a hospital.
There he was diagnosed with allergic rhinitis and found a foreign body in his nasal passage.
"During a nasal endoscopy, we found a foreign object - a white lump covered with secretions. After extraction, it turned out to be a two-centimeter-long dice, partially corroded due to prolonged presence in the nasal cavity," the doctor said.
According to the victim, the bone could have accidentally gotten into his nose when he was around three or four years old.
Earlier, on April 8, doctors in the Leningrad region saved a two-year-old child who swallowed more than 100 colored magnetic balls. Some of the magnets were removed using an endoscope, while others were retrieved by a team of surgeons. This is the largest number of foreign bodies in the gastrointestinal tract that local doctors have seen.
