In the Rostov region, 24 drones were destroyed overnight

In Rostov Region, air defense forces repelled an aerial attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) overnight, as a result of which 24 drones were eliminated. This was reported by acting governor Yuri Slyusar in his Telegram channel on November 26.

"A total of 24 UAVs were destroyed and suppressed by means of electronic warfare overnight during a massive attack in the Rostov region," Slyusar wrote.

Also on the night of November 26, Slyusar reported four destroyed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including near the city of Novoshakhtinsk, Taganrog, Kamensk and Zernograd. There are no casualties or destruction on the ground.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
