The wedding season at Mayakovskaya subway station has come to an end in Moscow

On November 24, the season of weddings at the metro station "Mayakovskaya" ended in Moscow. This was reported on Monday, November 25, by the Deputy Mayor of the capital for social development Anastasia Rakova.

Thus, the capital registry offices held for three couples final marriage ceremonies in 2024 on the beautiful date 24.11.2024. For a year at "Mayakovskaya" married 23 couples. All ceremonies took place on beautiful and symbolic dates, including July 7, August 18, September 29 and November 24. The ceremonies were held from 02:00 to 04:00 in order not to interfere with passenger traffic, RT reports.

Rakova reminded that citizens can get married in the most beautiful and unusual places of the capital within the framework of the project of the mayor of the capital "New addresses of happiness", notes the agency of city news "Moscow". For solemn marriage ceremonies in the capital is offered more than 50 sites. They include marriage palaces, museums, estates and beautiful restaurants, notes the website kp.ru. In the summer of 2024 in the framework of the project married more than 7 thousand couples, writes NSN.

As noted Deputy Mayor of the capital on transport and industry Maxim Liksutov, for three years the transport complex of the city has been participating in the project "New addresses of happiness". During this time at the station "Mayakovskaya" exchanged rings 71 couples, reports RIAMO.

November 12, vice-governor of the Moscow region Lyudmila Bolataeva said that more than 40 thousand couples have married in the Moscow region since the beginning of the year. Almost 5 thousand more applied for registration of the union next year, reports 360.ru.

On May 19 at the International Exhibition-Forum "Russia" ended the first All-Russian wedding festival. On the main street stage of the exhibition was solemnized marriage registration of 13 couples from Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kostroma, Kursk, Moscow, Orel, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver, Tula and Yaroslavl regions, reports IA Regnum.
