Tankers defeated an AFU stronghold on the South Donetsk direction

Soldiers of the T-80 tank crew of the motorized rifle unit of the Vostok group of troops have hit a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), ensuring the attack of assault groups in the South Donetsk direction. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 26.
In the course of combat work, the tankers fired 125-millimeter fragmentation-fugitive shells at the AFU positions, providing fire support to the advancing infantry groups. The tank firing was conducted at a distance of up to 800 meters under constant exposure to Ukrainian FPV drones.
"Passages were made in the enemy's mine and explosive barriers, as well as hitting firepower and personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As you can see, installed chains in front, behind, grids, also installed means of electronic warfare (REB), anti-mine track," - commented the platoon commander with the call sign Ufa.
The defense establishment noted that the competent and skillful actions of our tankers allowed infantry assault groups to capture enemy positions and fortify themselves in the designated area.
"We were fulfilling the combat task of consolidation, so that there was a stronghold there. Here we went in on it, that is, this stronghold was completely taken, completely this landing was shelled. We entered it, completely shelled everything, turned around, left," - said the mechanic-driver with the call sign Joker.
Earlier, on November 21, crews of T-80BVM tanks of the "North" group of troops destroyed camouflaged strongholds and AFU manpower in the special operation zone. The fire on the enemy positions was corrected using UAVs.
