An artillery crew of the Msta-S self-propelled artillery unit (SAU) of the Center group of troops has hit an ammunition depot and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Krasnoarmeyskoye direction of the special military operation (SMO). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 26.

Having received intelligence about the location of the target, the Msta-S SAU crew promptly prepared the gun for combat and began to fulfill the task. The fire was conducted from a closed firing position at a range of more than 10 kilometers. The artillerymen fired several salvos, as a result of which the ammunition depot and AFU personnel were hit.

The Orlan-30 unmanned aerial vehicle calculations performed fire correction and control of hitting the identified targets.

"We don't stand on the points for long, we are moving forward, moving forward, moving forward. We all fulfill our tasks", - commented the senior gunner Alexander.

Earlier, on November 25, the servicemen of the calculation of multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS) "Uragan" hit the equipment of the AFU in the Krasnoarmeysk direction. The ministry said that the artillery command center received intelligence about preparations for the rotation of Ukrainian militants' infantry from the rear area.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
