The ruling Georgian Dream party is open to dialog with partners from the opposition, but cooperation with radicals is ruled out there, party MP Shota Khabareli told Izvestia.

"A lot depends on the opposition. If they are radical, we will not cooperate with them. For now we are waiting for their decision. For us such a radical opposition is not necessary, because it is not an opposition, it is radicals. But if the opposition will be constructive, it is important for us. Now everything depends on them, on how they will behave. If they go to do something good for the state, then of course we will consider it, but they don't want to. They are now going against their country, exclude cooperation with the opposition in case of its radical actions," the MP said.

The deputy emphasized that the main thing is that the protests in the republic were held without violating the law.

"Everyone can express their opinion, Georgia is a democratic state, so let them express their opinion, but within the law," he said.

Dream's foreign policy course remains generally the same, Shota Khabareli added. According to him, Georgia intends to continue moving towards European integration and rapprochement with the EU. However, dialog with the Russian Federation is not ruled out.

"With Moscow we will see how it will be further. It depends on them, and it depends on us. But this is the future, I cannot say in advance how relations with Russia will be conducted. But nothing can be excluded," he emphasized.
