The governor of Voronezh region reported about the destroyed AFU drone

Air defense and electronic warfare (REB) means have eliminated an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies above the Voronezh Region. This was reported by Governor Alexander Gusev on November 26.

"On-duty air defense forces and REB means in the suburbs of Voronezh detected and destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle," he wrote in Telegram-channel at 2:22.

As noted by the head of the region, emergency services are working at the scene. There are no casualties or damage.

Meanwhile, in the Voronezh region continues to operate in the danger mode of UAV attack, Gusev added.

Shortly before that, Yuri Slyusar, the acting governor of the Rostov region, said that four UAVs had been destroyed in the region: near Novoshakhtinsk, Taganrog, Kamensk and Zernograd.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
