Russian Federation and Tunisia start working on increasing the number of charter flights

Russia and Tunisia are working to increase the number of charter flights between the countries, the Russian diplomatic mission in the Republic of Tunisia told Izvestia.

"Tunisia is traditionally among the popular vacation destinations in the world. This is a country where Russia has the kindest feelings for Russia, it stands out for its rich historical heritage, original culture, good quality recreational infrastructure," the embassy said.

They also noted that this year the country has already been visited by tens of thousands of Russian tourists.

However, the diplomatic mission noted that the relatively small number of charter flights between the countries remains a limiting factor for the development of this direction.

"Work on increasing the frequency of flights is underway. We hope that the relevant agreements will be reached and in the next tourist season Russians can be seen here more often," - said the embassy.
