The average check for tours with arrival during the New Year holidays has increased up to 31% year-on-year, depending on the destination, reported "Izvestia" in "Sletat.ru".

Thus, according to the service, on trips to Egypt for the New Year holidays in 2024 spend 31.4% more - an average of 275.1 thousand rubles, to Abkhazia by 31% - an average of 71.2 thousand rubles, to Sri Lanka by 21.8% - 474.5 thousand rubles. On holiday vacation within the country Russians began to spend 20% more - an average of 85.8 thousand rubles.

At the same time, the costs of tourists to some destinations, on the contrary, fell. The average check for a New Year's holiday in Turkey fell by 20.4% - to Br187.3 thousand. Also, the average spending on January tours to the UAE decreased slightly - by 5.5% to Br294.9 thousand.

The most popular vacation destinations for the New Year holidays are Egypt, Thailand, UAE, Turkey, China, Sri Lanka, Cuba, Abkhazia and Maldives, calculated in "Sletat.ru". Also Russians are going to travel within the country - to Krasnodar region, Caucasian Mineralnye Vody, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad region and Moscow.
