Russians named the optimal number of days for New Year vacations

Almost half of Russians believe that the optimal length of New Year vacations would be 2-3 days, while the rest prefer a longer vacation. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by Tricolor on the eve of the New Year holidays.
According to the survey, 42% of respondents believe that 2-3 days for New Year vacations would be enough, for 27% it is optimal to rest 7 days, 16% consider the best option 10 days off, and 14% would agree to two weeks of holidays.
Home is the most desirable place to celebrate the holiday, 70% of respondents agreed with this. 6% of the survey participants will spend New Year's Eve at work, 3% - in guests, another 3% - in the country or on a trip, only 1% - in a restaurant, the rest have not yet decided on the place of celebration.
The absolute majority (90%) will prepare dishes for the New Year's table themselves. But the question about the cost of the food basket caused difficulties among the respondents. 39% of respondents could not name the exact budget, 31% plan to stay within Br5 thousand, 16% will allocate up to Br10 thousand for the festive table, 6% - from Br10 to Br15 thousand, 5% - from Br15 to Br30 thousand, 3% are ready to spend more than Br30 thousand.
Salad "Olivier" is the main dish of the New Year's table in Russian families, it will be prepared by 45% of respondents, a little less (34%) give primacy to "Herring under a fur coat". And there is a real competition for a place for hot food: while men prefer meat, women prefer chicken or chicken. The top holiday dishes also included "Crab" salad, cake and fish pouring.
