Israel strikes three bridges in Syria's Homs province

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a series of strikes on several large bridges in Syria's Homs province, located on the border with Lebanon. This was reported on November 25 by the General Directorate of Radio and Television of Syria.

It is noted, the strikes hit the bridges of Al-Jubaniya, Al-Daf, Arjoun in the district of Al-Quseir in the province of Homs, indicated in the Telegram channel of the media.

The day before that in Israel recorded 30 rockets that came from Lebanon. This was reported on November 24 in the press service of the Israeli army (IDF). It is noted that the rockets were launched between 13:00 and 13:08 (from 14:00 to 14:08 Moscow time), after sirens sounded in the areas of the Upper Galilee, Western Galilee, Haifa Bay and Hakarmel.

Earlier, on November 23, the IDF struck the Jusiyah crossing point (checkpoint) on the Syria-Lebanon border. Prior to that, on November 20, Israel struck the city of Palmyra in Syria's Homs province. Residential buildings and an industrial zone were shelled.

The situation in the Middle East escalated in the morning of October 7, 2023, when the Palestinian radical movement Hamas subjected the territory of Israel to a massive rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. On the same day, Israel began retaliatory strikes.
