115 billion rubles may be allocated for rural development in 2025


The state program for the development of rural areas of the Russian Federation in 2025 may be financed by a record 115 billion rubles. This was announced on November 25 by the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Oksana Lut at a meeting of the Council on Agro-Industrial Complex and Natural Resources Management under the Federation Council.
She noted that the amount of funding is one of the most important conditions for the full implementation of the state program activities. According to her, since 2020 the volume amounted to almost 263 billion rubles, in 2023 the financing reached 76.8 billion rubles.
"We expect that in 2025 the volume of financing will increase to 115 billion rubles. This is an unconditional record for the program," Interfax quoted her as saying .
It is specified that at first in the draft federal budget for the state program in 2025 was provided 108 billion rubles. As Lut noted, business and workers from other spheres, including industry, services and social sphere, are actively involved in the program implementation.
Speaking about the implementation of the program in new regions, the minister said that from 2025, they will be allocated 2 billion rubles annually for these purposes in accordance with the priorities of the subjects.
"In less than five years, the program has become a key tool in the development of rural areas," added the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
Over the years of the program implementation in rural areas 248 schools, 155 kindergartens, 66 medical assistant stations, outpatient clinics and polyclinics, 338 houses of culture were created, almost 2 thousand km of rural roads were laid, the agency recalled.
Earlier in the day, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said that the agrarians of Donbass and Novorossiya were receiving all necessary measures of state support in a systematic manner. He, like Lut, noted that 2 billion rubles will be allocated annually to the new regions. According to him, this will contribute to the improvement, repair and modernization.
Before that, on October 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with members of the government on the development of rural areas. The head of the Ministry of Agriculture during the meeting said that the sustainable development of rural areas is one of the main directions of the doctrine of food security of Russia.
