The State Duma spoke out about the readiness of the AFU to give up some territories

The willingness of soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) to give up part of the country's territories in favor of Russia is related to their demotivation and unwillingness to fight. This opinion was expressed by Alexei Chepa, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, on Monday, November 25.
"At present, according to Ukrainian statistics, approximately 25% among the military are contract soldiers, 75% are mobilized. Of the mobilized, according to Ukrainian estimates, 70% were brought into the army by force," the MP said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru.
He added that this is why desertion is rampant there.
Earlier in the day, the British magazine The Economist wrote with reference to the Ukrainian military that the AFU fighters are ready to agree to territorial concessions in favor of Russia because of fatigue, RT reports.
It is noted that the militants are increasingly allowing the idea that "ceasefire may be the only way out" of the conflict, 360.ru reported.
Earlier, on November 23, the AFU General Staff reported that the situation in the combat zone is difficult for the Ukrainian army. The Ukrainian General Staff noted that the Russian army daily attacks the positions of the AFU, using the advantage in military equipment and soldiers.
Before that, on November 21, British experts said about the threat of collapse of the front in Ukraine under the onslaught of the Russian Federation. In addition, it is noted that the attack of the AFU on the Kursk region became a "strategic disaster" against the background of the shortage of military personnel in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.
On October 3, journalist Volodymyr Boyko, who joined the Ukrainian army, said that nothing will be able to stop the collapse of the AFU on the front line. According to him, the soldiers are not going to die for the "rotten corrupt regime".
In the same month, it was reported that Ukrainian soldiers refused to listen to their commanders because of orders to attack Russian soldiers without weapons and because of corruption in the army. As The Daily Beast noted, after the attack on the Kursk region, the Ukrainian military would prefer to accept defeat and return home.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose term in office expired on May 20, said that the situation on the front line was very difficult for the Ukrainian army. According to him, success in fighting depends on everyone in the "Ukrainian team".
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
