Digging of the left side tunnel between the future stations "Narodnoe Opolchenie" and "Bulvar Generala Karbyshev" of the Rublevo-Arkhangelsk metro line has been completed in Moscow. The new branch will pass from "Moscow City" to Rublevo-Arkhangelsky beyond the MKAD, and in the future - to Krasnogorsk. About it told in his official Telegram-channel the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.

The length of the branch with 12 stations is 27,6 km. There will be interchanges to the MCC, Solntsevskaya, Filevskaya, Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya lines and BKL.

The Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya line will improve transportation services for about 1 million current and future residents of the seven districts. "We expect that in the first years it will be used by about 250 thousand passengers per day. The sections of Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya and Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya branches, adjacent roads will be relieved", - added the mayor.

The works continue, including tunneling between the stations. Now three tunneling complexes are working on the line, including a shield of large diameter - 10 m. It is planned to finish construction of all distancing tunnels from "Shelepikha" to "Lipovaya Roscha" in 2026.
