Experts gave advice on vacationing in Asian countries

Russian tourists have increasingly started to go on vacation to Asian countries, and not just to Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam, which were popular before. Travel planning service OneTwoTrip has found out where else to go and how much the trip will cost. The recommendations were reviewed by Izvestia on Wednesday, November 27.
China
The popularity of China among Russians has grown several times in recent years, and this is not surprising, as there you can arrange a very diverse vacation, for example, go to the sea on Hainan Island, where even in winter it is warm. Or, on the contrary, choose a ski resort - Wanlun, Nanshan or Ping Tian. There are also thermae there. Hot springs can be found in Beidaihe, Tianjin and Dalian. There is always a rich sightseeing program in Beijing and Xi'an, shopping in Guangzhou and Shanghai, super-modern Hong Kong and Chengdu with its park with pandas.
Russians to travel in China need a tourist visa of category L, which can be easily obtained at the consulate or visa center. It is issued for 90 days, and you can stay in the country no more than 30 (then just re-enter). If you are traveling as part of a tourist group or flying only to Hainan by direct flight, you do not need a visa.
Air ticket from Moscow to Beijing and back will cost from 31 thousand rubles, to Sanya (the capital of Hainan) - from 36 thousand rubles, to Hong Kong - from 45 thousand rubles. Direct flights from Russia are quite a lot. A room in a three-star hotel will cost from Br7 thousand per night in Beijing and up to Br10 thousand in Sanya.
Japan
Tokyo is a dream of many travelers. This is the most densely populated metropolis in the world, which neighbors the imperial palace, ancient temples and skyscrapers, fashion boutiques and small stores with manga and slot machines. But you should not limit yourself only to a trip to the capital: after getting acquainted with Tokyo you can drive for three hours to Kiso Valley, where the atmosphere of ancient Japan is preserved, and then get to Osaka with its beautiful palace, temples and park with deer and to Kyoto (here is a stunning bamboo forest Sagano).
Russians need a tourist visa (usually for the first time it is given for the dates of the trip). You can get one at the embassy or consulate of the country. It takes up to five working days to get a visa.
A ticket from Moscow to Tokyo and back costs from 45 thousand rubles, there are no direct flights. It is easy to get to other cities from the capital by train. Or you can fly directly to Osaka - the ticket costs the same 45 thousand rubles. And when booking accommodation should count on average on 9 thousand rubles per day, if you want to live closer to the center.
South Korea
Another country that is surely on the wish lists of many Russians. Interest in South Korea is actively fueled by the popularity of doramas and, in general, the penetration of its culture beyond its borders. Many locations from the movies can be seen in Seoul. The capital - in general, for the European eye the city is amazing, just the traditional villages in the center of a major metropolis strikes the imagination. But there are also ancient palaces, and the trendy Gangnam district with skyscrapers and shopping centers. To swim, you should go to Busan - the second largest city in South Korea stands on the shores of the Sea of Japan, and if you want natural beauty - volcanoes, forests and rocks, welcome to Jeju Island.
All tourists from 18 to 65 years old need to apply for K-ETA - electronic entry permit. The application is submitted on the official website at least 72 hours before the date of arrival. But Russians do not need a visa if you do not plan to stay longer than 60 days.
A ticket from Moscow to Seoul and back costs from 42 thousand rubles, flights with connections. A hotel can be booked for an average of 8 thousand rubles per night.
Malaysia
This is not yet the most popular destination for Russians and European tourists in general, and there is an opinion that this will soon change, as Malaysia is a country of amazingly beautiful and interesting. There are skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur, and European Malacca, from which you can go hiking in Taman Negara National Park, and Georgetown, eclectic buildings of which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, as well as the island of Borneo.
Russians need only a passport valid for at least six months to visit the country. You can stay in Malaysia for up to 30 days without a visa.
A ticket to Kuala Lumpur and back will cost from 45 thousand rubles, a connecting flight. A room in a three-star hotel costs about 4 thousand rubles per night.
Singapore
This small state, consisting of one city, separated from Malaysia only in 1965. And since then has stepped into the distant future - huge skyscrapers are surrounded by green parks, and the number of botanical gardens and greenhouses is amazing. There are in Singapore and reserves, perfect for hiking, and ancient temples, and a mosque, and an unusual theater, and a zoo, and a whole island of entertainment with an oceanarium and several parks, and beaches, as from advertising.
Russian tourists will need a visa, which is issued in visa centers.
A ticket to Singapore from Moscow costs from 55 thousand rubles, flying with connections. A hotel room can be booked for an average of Br15 thousand per day.
Earlier, November 20, an expert of the Russian Union of Travel Industry on travel aggregators Valery Britaus said at a press conference in the MICE "Izvestia" that the most popular countries for Russians on New Year holidays were the Russian Federation, Georgia and Morocco. He noted that closer to the New Year the demand for travel in Russia will grow.
