The Russian Armed Forces destroyed an AFU tank and a German Fuchs armored personnel carrier in the Kursk Region

Russian servicemen have destroyed a tank and a German armored personnel carrier Fuchs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region, the enemy's losses for the day amounted to more than 200 military. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 25.

It is noted that units of the "North" group of forces defeated the enemy brigades in the areas of the settlements of Alexandria, Viktorovka, Kruglenkoe, Lebedevka, Leonidovka, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Nikolsky, Novaya Sorochina, Novoivanovka, Plekhovo and Sverdlikovo.

Other enemy military equipment was also destroyed. It included three infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), including a German Marder and an American Bradley, as well as four armored combat vehicles, five vehicles, four artillery pieces and a mortar.

Earlier on November 25, regional governor Alexei Smirnov said that air defense assets (ADF) destroyed four AFU guided aerial bombs in a border area of Kursk Region.

On the same day, the ministry said that air defense forces destroyed 23 AFU drones over Russian regions. Seven of them were shot down in the Kursk region. Then Smirnov said that in addition to the seven drones in the Kursk region shot down seven Ukrainian missiles.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
