Eyewitnesses to the accident in Chelyabinsk gave details of the incident

The intersection where the drunk driver hit pedestrians is one of the most dangerous in Chelyabinsk. About this on Monday, November 25, told "Izvestia" one of the eyewitnesses.

"On this intersection I often see that everyone is flying. The most dangerous intersection. It is very wide," shared Semyon Bykov.

According to another eyewitness, an ambulance and intensive care worked at the site.

"Came when everything happened. Lucky me. A lot of things suffered: pieces of the bumper were lying. I saw how the ambulance with the resuscitation stood <...> Reanimation next to stood, lucky straight," - said Radislav Hakimov.

Earlier in the day in Chelyabinsk, a car flew onto the sidewalk and hit people standing there, as a result five people were injured. The driver was detained and taken to the police station. A criminal case was opened by the Investigative Committee.

One of the victims in the incident was the goalkeeper of the hockey club "Chelmet" Alexey Shchetilin. He and his wife received moderate injuries and were hospitalized.
