Goalkeeper of the hockey club "Chelmet" Alexey Schetilin suffered as a result of a drunk driver hit pedestrians in Chelyabinsk. About it on Monday, November 25, reported the press service of the club.

"This afternoon at the intersection of Chicherina and Brothers Kashirinykh streets there was a traffic accident, in which five people were injured. One of them were Chelmet goalkeeper Alexei Schetilin and his spouse," the team's Telegram channel reported.

The spouses were hospitalized with injuries of medium severity. It is noted that the club is making efforts to provide them with quick and qualified assistance.

The incident occurred earlier in the day. A car flew onto the sidewalk and hit the people standing there, resulting in five injuries. The driver was detained and taken to the police station. A criminal case was initiated by the Investigative Committee.
