Liksutov spoke about the victory of Moscow transport in the REFORUM award

Two Moscow transportation projects have won REFORUM Awards. Russia's first unmanned tramway was recognized as the best in the category "Innovation of the Year", and SberTroyka - in the category "Breakthrough Company of the Year", said the press service of the Department of Transport of the capital.

The innovative streetcar was launched in Moscow in May 2024. "Then a new page in the history of urban transportation development was opened. The software is created by metro specialists without involving third-party companies. Unmanned technology is a unique development in Europe, which belongs to the Moscow government," said Maxim Liksutov, the capital's Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry.

During the first stage of the launch, the streetcar has never violated traffic rules and was fully prepared for the first trips with passengers. During the second stage the streetcar is already running with Muscovites, who noted the smooth running, soft braking and acceleration. The driver is behind the remote control, he insures the actions of the machine. Like any streetcar, the unmanned streetcar also makes technical trips without passengers. The third stage of testing will begin at the end of 2025, then the streetcar is planned to be transferred to a fully unmanned mode.

"SberTroyka" is a joint IT company of "Sber", the governments of Moscow and the Moscow region, established in 2020. The company develops and implements a unified ticketing system based on the capital's Troika card in Russia's regions. It is a completely domestic development.

""SberTroika" has turned from a startup into a major Russian-level company in almost four years. This year the Moscow ticketing system and its services began to function in eight more regions," explained Maxim Liksutov.

The REFORUM Prize is awarded to companies that have developed or successfully implemented advanced and efficient technologies.
