Medical team miraculously survived after AFU drone attack in Kherson region


A team of ambulance doctors miraculously managed to stay alive during a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Holopristanskyy district of Kherson Region. This was reported on November 25 by the chairman of the regional government, Andriy Alekseenko.
It is noted that the medics went to an emergency call to a wounded local resident, who received mine blast injuries after shelling from the Ukrainian side. At that moment the car of doctors was attacked by an enemy drone.
"The driver and paramedic managed to jump out of the ambulance just seconds before the impact. The car was practically destroyed. No one was injured. The medics also had time to help the wounded," Alekseenko said in his Telegram channel.
He also expressed gratitude to the medics for their dedication and professionalism, noting that the ambulance of the district hospital will be replaced.
Earlier, on March 19, Alekseenko reported that in the town of Kakhovka, Kherson region, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the AFU attacked an ambulance car with a child inside. It was noted that as a result of the attack, the paramedic of the ambulance team and the child were not injured.
After, August 6, it was reported that an AFU drone hit an ambulance near the town of Suja in Kursk region. According to Alexei Smirnov, acting governor, the paramedic and the driver were killed in the attack, the doctor was injured. Smirnov noted that Russian medics are real heroes, and terrorists who hit ambulances are sure to receive retribution.
Ukrainian militants are shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the backdrop of the special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
