One person killed and one injured in AFU drone attack in Shebekino

One person was killed and one injured in a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the town of Shebekino in Belgorod Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel on November 25.

As a result of dropping a Ukrainian explosive device, a civilian was killed and another man received a shrapnel wound to the shoulder, Gladkov said.

He noted that the victim was taken to the city hospital and all necessary assistance is being provided.

"As a result of the shelling, according to preliminary data, the glazing in three apartment buildings was blown out. Cars and trucks were slashed with shrapnel. In addition, the facade of the facility was damaged and the roof of the garage was punctured," the governor added.

Operational services are working at the scene. Information on the consequences is being clarified.

Earlier, on November 18, a civilian was killed when an AFU drone attacked a passenger car in Bolshezoldatsky district of Kursk region.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
