At a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin on November 25, the head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) Veronika Skvortsova reported on the participation of the organization's units in the special military operation (SMO).

"From the first days of the start of the SWO, FMBA units - combined mobile medical units - began work to eliminate medical and sanitary consequences of military operations in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), in Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, sabotage attacks in Belgorod region, in Crimea and emergencies," she shared.

According to her, doctors are on the front line together with servicemen and remove the wounded from the combat zone. At the same time, mobile hospitals have been organized in border areas, medical care is provided to military and civilians, and operations are also carried out. In addition, Skvortsova noted that a center for medical and psychological support was opened.

The head of FMBA added that a comprehensive system of rehabilitation and restorative treatment of the military has been established. Also, in order to make the work more efficient, the vehicles were modernized, in connection with which armored ambulances appeared.

Earlier in the day, the press service of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" Foundation reported that the platform "SWOIRODNY.RF", aimed at providing psychological and social assistance to the veterans of the Army and their relatives, has started working in Russia. It is specified that the platform collects a directory of support measures for the military.
