Christmas tree markets will open in Chita on December 15. The city authorities have already identified 38 trading places in different districts. Olga Ovdina, head of the consumer market department, told about it at a meeting in the city administration.

According to her words, quoted by IA ChitaMedia, a lot of work has been done in terms of organizing auctions, receiving applications and their consideration. As a result of auctions 28 contracts were concluded.

Before the opening of the fairs, trade places will be checked by specialists of the consumer market department, Rospotrebnadzor and police officers. Sellers among other things must conclude a contract for garbage disposal.

Earlier it was reported that sales of decor for the New Year for the first week increased by 24% compared to the same period last year, and in monetary terms - by 47%. These are the data of marketplace Ozon. In the analytical center "Chek Index" of the company "Platform OFD" noted that compared to last year, prices for artificial Christmas tree increased by 27%, while the number of purchases decreased by 33%.
