The Primorsky Territory is preparing for the cyclone. It will bring rain, snow and strong wind to the region. A storm warning has been announced for November 26 and 27. The issue of the region's readiness for bad weather was discussed at a meeting of Governor Oleg Kozhemyako.

According to Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the region Sergey Korotkov, municipalities have already been put on high alert. More than 1 thousand units of equipment have been deployed, including tractors, dump trucks for ice control, combined machines for road cleaning. Reagents for road treatment have been prepared.

In addition, energy companies and rescue services have strengthened their readiness. 167 emergency brigades have been formed, technical reserve has been involved, 60 mobile diesel generators have been prepared.

Special emphasis has been placed on ensuring safety on the roads. Temporary blocking of traffic in dangerous areas is not excluded, PrimaMedia news agency writes.

On November 25, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, said that dangerous weather phenomena such as storm winds, heavy precipitation and ice are expected in more than 15 regions of Russia this week. The most difficult weather at the beginning of the week will be in Murmansk region and Primorsky Krai, where heavy snow, sleet, snowstorms, wind up to 22 m/s are forecast.
