A case of organizing an organized crime group was opened against criminal authority Robson

A criminal case on organization of a criminal association was opened against Sochi businessman Ruben Tatulyan, known in certain circles as criminal authority Robson. This was reported on November 25 by a source of "Izvestia".

According to the investigation, in 1998 Tatulyan created a criminal association, the goals of which were extortion, embezzlement, physical elimination of persons.

He attracted Andronik Mumjyan and several other people to manage the group, each having his own role. High-profile crimes were recorded behind the community, including threats of physical violence and contract killing.

By now, Tatulyan is already a defendant in another criminal case and is wanted. In September 2023, the businessman underwent a series of searches in Sochi in the case of multi-billion dollar embezzlement in land use. This was due to suspected fraud in the construction of shopping centers and residential complexes in the city, Izvestia's source reported at the time.

Later, the Interior Ministry declared Tatulyan wanted under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

In September 2024, the businessman's sister Angela Selyukova was deprived of her deputy powers in the city assembly of Sochi in connection with loss of confidence due to the provision of false information on income and property. It was found that she concealed receipt of $9 million for the sale of boarding house shares in 2020-2021 and failed to report underreporting of income from the sale of a Bentley car by 5.5 million rubles.
