The International Scientific and Practical Forum "Without Statute of Limitations. Key Point of Historical Memory" is important for the preservation of history. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in a welcoming telegram to the participants of the forum, which takes place from November 25 to 26 in St. Petersburg.

"Your demanded scientific, educational project serves an important, noble purpose - the preservation of our historical memory, patriotic education of youth - and unites people of different generations, ages and professions with its high mission," his words are quoted on the Kremlin website.

The head of state noted that the fifth forum is special. According to him, for the first time it will present the results of the work done, including previously unknown trial materials, archival documents telling about the genocide of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War, and other evidence of the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices.

The President wished success to the participants of the forum and expressed confidence that during the event they will be able to outline a further vector of activity, share experience, offer new meaningful ideas and initiatives.

Earlier, on November 4, Putin said that the people of Russia had built a great power, opened the way for mankind to study the stars, made grandiose scientific and geographical discoveries. In his greeting to the participants of the international symposium "Creating the Future," he also noted that fellow citizens should determine their future themselves on the basis of national culture.
