The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), trying to repeat the provocation in Bucha, organized a "bloodbath" in Selidovo in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was stated on Monday, November 25, by Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the crimes of the Kiev regime.

"When the West started talking about peace talks, [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky (his term expired in May. - Ed.) started preparing Bucha-2, but already in Selidovo," he told RIA Novosti.

According to Miroshnik, evacuated residents report mass killings of civilians by AFU fighters a few days before the liberation of the city by the Russian Armed Forces (AF).

"A bloodbath was organized by the Nazis two or three days before the Russian troops took the city," he said.

Miroshnyk pointed out that the investigating authorities would be investigating using the testimonies of victims and witnesses.

The Ukrainian side began spreading reports of a large number of civilian casualties in the town of Bucha near Kiev on April 2, 2022. The next day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that all photos and videos published by the Kiev regime about the alleged crimes of the Russian military in Bucha were a provocation.

On April 15, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a case of fakes about the Russian Armed Forces after the provocation in Bucha.

Theliberation of Selidovo by fighters of the Center group became known on October 29. The town is located about 40 kilometers northwest of Donetsk and has an important strategic importance. The AFU equipped one of the largest fortifications here. Later, footage was published showing the replacement of the Ukrainian flag with the Russian tricolor by Russian Armed Forces soldiers on the roof of one of the multi-storey buildings.

On November 25, a resident of Selidovo told Izvestia that residents had not had to leave their homes since late October. According to him, they also had to hide from the employees of the territorial manning center (TCC, the analog of the military recruitment office in Ukraine), who often drove into the town.

The special operation to protect Donbass, which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
