The current administration of US President Joe Biden continues escalating actions in the context of the situation in Ukraine. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this at a briefing on November 25.

Peskov added that words about negotiations on Ukraine are heard from those supporting US President-elect Donald Trump and those who will work in his administration in the future.

"No such words are heard from the mouths of representatives of the current administration, and so far provocative escalating actions continue. This is the reality we are facing," he noted.

He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly reiterated his readiness for the peace process and negotiations.

On the eve, a Kremlin official said that the Biden administration was trying to escalate the situation in Ukraine to such an extent that peace terms were doomed to fiasco. According to him, the US presidential administration is trying to escalate the situation in Ukraine in order to thwart the attempts of US leader-elect Donald Trump to resolve the conflict.

Earlier, on November 21, Putin said that Ukraine had used Western long-range weapons against the Russian state, causing the regional conflict to acquire elements of a global conflict. He also said that one of Russia's newest medium-range missile systems, the Oreshnik ballistic missile, had been tested under combat conditions.

The special operation to protect Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.

On November 5, the election of the 47th American leader was held, which was won by Trump, receiving in the national vote 51% of the votes. The next day, the politician said that he considers his goal as head of state to be the cessation of military conflicts in the world. In addition, the Republican promised to "work very hard" to complete the Ukrainian conflict. He noted that any crises must end.
