Criminal case opened after a collision between a truck and a bus in the Leningrad Region

A case has been opened after a collision of a bus with a truck in Lomonosovsky district of the Leningrad region. "On November 25, 2024 on the highway on Krasnoselskoye highway in the village of Novosel'ye Lomonosovsky district of the Leningrad region, a bus carrying passengers collided with a truck", - stated in the message of the department in the Telegram-channel.

A criminal case under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements") was initiated on this fact.

An investigative and operational group is working at the scene. The causes and circumstances of the incident are being established.

According to "Izvestia" source, 13 people were injured in the accident.

The incident became known earlier in the day. A flight bus, moving at high speed, collided with parked trucks. According to Izvestiya's source, five children are among the injured.
