Experts and the team of Sport-Express have compiled a rating of 55 of the most talented young footballers in Russia. The list included players not older than 19 years old.

At the head was 19-year-old midfielder Lokomotiv Alexei Batrakov, whose transfer value has increased almost seven times in a few months. Also in the top three were Danila Kozlov of Krasnodar and Viktor Okishor of Dynamo.

"You want to prove yourself, of course. Sometimes it's hard to show something in technical equipment, but through desire, through effort you reveal your potential," Batrakov noted.

According to experts, the level of youth in Russia is very high now. This is due to the fact that, firstly, there are more domestic junior tournaments, and secondly, there are fewer legionnaires in the Russian Premier League (RPL).

"The fact that the level is growing is the natural order of things. We focus on our resources, these resources give results," said commentator Alexander Kuzmak.

In addition, experts emphasize that in 2015, the RPL was the oldest league in the world with an average age of 27 years. Now the age has decreased by two years. At the same time, it is noted that the trend may continue.

"First of all, it is very good that Sport-Express pays attention to this, because we all closely follow the youth, this is our future. We in the club work in such a way that we do not focus on ratings, but on how a player shows himself on the soccer field," said Lokomotiv general director Vladimir Leonchenko.

It is specified that during the year about 100 thousand people entered the sections, and in total, according to official data, almost 5 million people are engaged in soccer in Russia.
