Possible causes of DHL airplane crash in Vilnius named

The cause of the crash of a DHL airplane in Vilnius is being investigated as "caused by technical problems". This was reported by LRT.lt on November 25, citing the head of the National Crisis Management Center (NCMC), Vilmantas Vitkauskas.
Footage of the alleged moment of the ship's crash also appeared on the web.
"The main cause of the investigated incident may be related to 'technical issues', but this is yet to be clarified by experts," the portal quoted him as saying.
The NCVC chief added that the plane went down near an apartment building, casualties among the occupants were avoided. After the crash there was a fire, 12 people were evacuated from the house. The fire was completely extinguished.
"One crew member was found without signs of life, two were rescued, they were taken to the hospital, they are receiving first aid," Vitkauskas informed.
According to Police Commissioner General Arunas Paulauskas, the plane was completely destroyed and the cargo carried was scattered over a large area.
"It is most likely either a technical accident or human error. <...> The plane was descending and did not reach the runway. These are the factual circumstances," he concluded.
The crash of the DHL plane in Vilnius was reported earlier on Monday. The plane went down near a two-story apartment building at 5:31 (6:31 Moscow time). There were four people on board - two pilots and two employees.
