- A platform for assistance to participants of SWOs and their families has been launched in the Russian Federation

The platform "SWOIRODNY.RF" aimed at providing psychological and social assistance to veterans of special military operation (SVO) and their relatives has been launched in Russia. This was reported on Monday, November 25, by the press service of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation.
The platform has collected a complete directory of support measures for military personnel, including a section on patriotic education, mentored by Father Kyprian, Hero of the Soviet Union.
"The materials prepared by specialists will help to act in typical situations that heroes may face after returning home, as well as their relatives", - notes Anna Tsivileva, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation.
It is noted that the project will provide support in various areas: rehabilitation, risk prevention, legal and social assistance, family support, patriotic education, retraining, as well as a video course on financial literacy. Experts in medicine, psychology, law and career counseling are working on the platform.
"The digital format is optimal for the project's tasks: not every person who has passed the crucible of SWO is ready to seek help face-to-face, in person, and often the initiative lies with loved ones. In addition, the online platform provides an opportunity to get advice or support anonymously, around the clock and absolutely free of charge," said Denis Protsenko, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Hero of Labor of Russia.
Earlier, on October 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law allowing some participants of the SWO and their spouses to write off overdue loans up to 10 million rubles. It was noted that the law terminates obligations under loan agreements of mobilized fighters, conscripts (except for cadets of military schools and universities) and other citizens who signed a contract on service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from December 1, 2024 for at least a year.
