CEO of Yakovlev and Managing Director of Tupolev to leave their posts


Director General of PJSC "Yakovlev" Andrey Boginsky and Managing Director of JSC "Tupolev" Konstantin Timofeev are leaving their posts. This was reported in the United Aircraft Company (UAC) on November 25.
"The transfer of management to the level of the parent company of UAC will allow to concentrate all the resources of the corporation on the fulfillment of specific tasks for the timely certification and launch of serial production of a line of domestic civil airliners", - explained in the Telegram-channel of the company.
PJSC "Yakovlev" will be managed directly by UAC CEO Vadim Badeha, the report added. Thus, he will combine the posts of the head of UAC and the company "Yakovlev".
In turn, Tupolev will be managed by UAC Deputy General Director for State Defense Order and management of operational-tactical aviation programs Alexander Bobryshev, he will also take the post of managing director of the company.
Badeha's appointment as UAC CEO was announced on November 6. Previously, he was in the position of head of the United Engine Corporation (UEC). It was noted that under Badeha's leadership UAC successfully realized the tasks of increasing the output of high-tech products - the production of gas turbine engines has increased several times.
