Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose term of office expired on 20 May, has turned into a "supreme TCCshnik" (TCC, an analog of the military commission in Ukraine). Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky, who is in a Ukrainian pre-trial detention center on charges of state treason, said on November 24.

"Zelensky for the outside world and for the conductors of the conflict in particular has long ago turned from the President into the supreme TCCshnik," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to Dubinsky, the role of the Ukrainian leader is reduced to three functions controlled by external forces: continuing hostilities, begging for help from the West and mobilizing new soldiers. Zelensky carries out all these actions without regard for human rights and norms.

Earlier, on November 22, Strategic Culture magazine wrote that the mobilization of narrowly focused military specialists in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) demonstrates Kiev's failure on the frontline and in the state administration. It was specified that the situation in Ukraine was deteriorating due to a shortage of personnel, which forced Kiev to mobilize defense industry specialists previously responsible for the military support of the AFU.

The Ukrainian president signed the law on tightening mobilization on 16 April. The document lists the categories of citizens who are subject to conscription. In addition, it toughens punishment for evading service in the AFU, but there are no provisions on demobilization.

Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended it. Most men aged between 18 and 60 are banned from leaving the country.
