U.S. President-elect Donald Trump intends to issue a decree, according to which all transgender (the LGBT movement is recognized as extremist in Russia) military personnel will be dismissed from service. This was reported by The Times on November 25, citing sources.

"These people will be forced to leave at a time when the Army cannot recruit enough people. Only the Marine Corps is meeting its recruiting numbers, and some of the people who will be affected are in very senior positions," the source shared with the publication.

It is specified that at the moment among the active military about 15 thousand are transgender. Trump plans to dismiss them for medical reasons, as unfit for service.

In 2016, Barack Obama, who at the time led the United States, allowed transgender people to openly enlist in the Armed Forces and receive the necessary medical care. However, the next president, Donald Trump, reversed the decision in July 2017. And then due to the decision being blocked by the courts in four states, he issued another memorandum on the ban in 2018.

This memorandum was rescinded on January 25, 2021 by the current US President Joe Biden. He signed an executive order lifting the bans imposed by the previous administration.
