Passengers of the plane that caught fire in Antalya were given luggage

Passengers of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 airplane of the Russian airline Azimut, which caught fire at Antalya airport, were given luggage. About this on November 25 "Izvestia" told the passenger blogger Evgenia Lavrinenko.

"Eight hours later, the luggage was issued, thank God, not burned," Lavrinenko reported.

She added that Azimut, the company involved in transportation, promised to provide passengers with a transfer.

Earlier in the day, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Antalya reported on working out the issues of assistance to the passengers of the airline "Azimut". It is noted that after receiving information about the fire to the scene of the incident immediately sent employees of the diplomatic mission.

Natalia, a passenger of the ignited airplane, said that fuel began to leak out after a sharp impact on landing and then the engine caught fire. According to her, the crew of the airplane tried to calm down the passengers, who helped each other and got out of the inflamed aircraft by going down the inflatable ramp. In turn, another passenger reported a sharp impact on landing, which caused a power outage. According to her, there was panic and crush inside the airplane during evacuation. There was a lot of smoke and a very strong smell of burning plastic. Children were supposed to be let out first, but this did not happen.
