Passenger of the plane that caught fire in Antalya told of help in rescuing people


A passenger of the Russian airline Azimut's Sukhoi Superjet 100 plane that caught fire at Antalya airport told Izvestia how he helped in rescuing people from the burning vehicle.
"I was sitting in front, I ran. The door opened, got out. And people came out," Sultanov reported.
He specified that the main thing in the situation is that no one was hurt in the end.
Sultanov also said that specialists came to the call about the fire "in 30 seconds". The passenger added that passengers' belongings are still in the airplane.

According to preliminary information, there are no casualties as a result of the incident, the cause of the fire is being investigated. Natalia, a passenger of the ignited airplane, said that fuel began to leak out after a sharp impact on landing and then the engine caught fire. According to her, the crew of the airplane tried to calm down the passengers, who helped each other and got out of the inflamed aircraft by going down the inflatable ramp. In turn, another passenger reported a sharp impact on landing, which caused a power outage. According to her, there was panic and crush inside the airplane during evacuation. There was a lot of smoke and a very strong smell of burning plastic. Children were supposed to be let out first, but this did not happen.
