Uragan MLRS hit AFU equipment in the Krasnoarmeysk direction

Soldiers of the Uragan multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS) of the Center group of troops have hit a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) personnel and equipment while carrying out combat missions in the zone of the special military operation (SMO) in the Krasnoarmeysk direction. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 25.

The ministry said that the artillery command post received intelligence about preparations for the rotation of infantry of Ukrainian militants from the rear area. Then the coordinates of the target were transferred to the Uragan MLRS, which moved to the area of combat use, where it took up a firing position, deployed the combat vehicle and aimed it at the target, and fired 220-millimeter rockets at the target. Various types of ammunition hit lightly armored vehicles, manpower and enemy strongholds, both in the front line and in the rear of the defensive order.

It is specified that the use of the Uragan MLRS allows for point-by-point elimination of ammunition storage bases, places of equipment concentration, as well as cutting off the militants' reserve units from the main forces.

"Mainly now rear areas, support areas, infantry there, ammunition delivery <...> We are working on basements, where they occupy their points there. We have thermobaric ammunition, they penetrate the house to the basement, fold it completely," - said the commander of the machine Alexei Gruzdev.

Earlier, on November 18, Uragan MLRS calculations of the Vostok group of troops hit a cluster of AFU equipment in the South Donetsk direction. The Russian Armed Forces hit the target with a package of 16 rockets.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made due to the aggravation of the situation in the region.
