More than 20 planes have landed in other cities because of the fire in Antalya


Due to the fire of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft of the Russian airline Azimut at Antalya airport, more than 20 planes made an emergency landing at the airports of Izmir, Dalaman and other Turkish cities. This is reported by "RIA Novosti" with reference to the airport data.

Natalia, a passenger of the ignited airplane, said that fuel began to leak out after a sharp impact on landing and then the engine caught fire. According to her, the crew of the airplane tried to calm down the passengers, who helped each other and got out of the inflamed aircraft by going down the inflatable ramp. In turn, another passenger reported a sharp impact on landing, which caused a power outage. According to her, there was panic and crush inside the airplane during evacuation. There was a lot of smoke and a very strong smell of burning plastic. Children were supposed to be let out first, but this did not happen.
