Su-34 fighter jet destroys equipment with AFU personnel in Kursk border area

The crew of the Su-34 supersonic multirole fighter-bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) has struck a cluster of personnel, armored and vehicle military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of the Kursk Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 25.

According to the ministry, the strike with aviation bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK) was carried out at night against reconnaissance targets of the enemy.

The Su-34 crew safely returned to the airfield after intelligence confirmed the destruction of military equipment and personnel of Ukrainian militants.

Earlier, on November 23, Su-25 crews carried out missile air strikes on armored vehicles and personnel of the AFU in the Kursk region. It is specified that the launches were carried out in pairs from low altitudes.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
