When the Sukhoi Superjet 100 airplane of the Russian airline Azimut landed at Antalya airport, fuel began to leak after a sharp impact, and then the engine caught fire. This was reported to Izvestia on November 24 by Natalia, a passenger of the ignited plane.

"We ourselves are in shock, of course, how it happened. There was a buzz when we were flying, when we started to land - a sharp blow, fuel began to flow out. We saw that the cars were going in our direction, began to look at the strip, the fuel leaked out, well, everything caught fire," - said the victim.

According to her, the crew of the airplane tried to calm down the passengers, who helped each other and went out of the inflamed aircraft, going down the inflatable gangway.

"The passengers were adequate, there were a lot of children, the children were scared. Slowly everyone came out, calmed each other, tried to leave the ship as quickly as possible", - added the interlocutor of "Izvestia".

The fire of the airplane of Azimut airline at landing in Antalya became known earlier in the day. Portal AirportHaber specified that because of the incident the airport runway was temporarily closed. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the incident, the cause of the fire is being investigated. Later the fire was extinguished. In addition, Izvestia has at its disposal footage from the scene. The recording shows how the passengers of the plane with bags descend the inflatable gangway.
