Russian diplomats have rushed to the site of the accident with the Russian plane in Antalya. This was reported by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova to Izvestia on November 24.

"Russian foreign missions in Turkey and directly the Consulate General in Antalya are in close contact with the Turkish authorities to provide assistance to Russian citizens who were on board. In the near future, Russian diplomats will share operational information about the situation directly from the scene, where they have urgently left," she said.

Rosaviatsia spokesman Artem Korenyako, referring to the airline Azimut, specified that the passengers were taken to the airport terminal, there were no casualties. The information about the absence of victims was also confirmed in the Western Interregional Investigative Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"Azimut is currently preparing a reserve board to send a return flight", Korenyako added in his Telegram channel.

The fire of the Azimut airline's plane while landing in Antalya became known earlier in the day. Portal AirportHaber specified that because of the incident the airport runway was temporarily closed. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the incident, the cause of the fire is being investigated. Later the fire was extinguished. In addition, Izvestia has at its disposal footage from the scene. The recording shows how the passengers of the plane with bags descend the inflatable gangway. According to the source, there were 89 people on board.
