The governor of Belgorod region reported the elimination of several UAVs

Russian air defense means destroyed several drones over the territory of Belgorod Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on November 24.

"Several drones were shot down by the air defense system over Belgorod and the Belgorod region," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Gladkov added that as a result of falling debris, the roof of the veranda of a private house in Belgorod was punctured and the roof of a building in the Severny settlement was damaged. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the elimination of two UAVs over the Belgorod region. In total, overnight air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 34 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Russia.

Before that, on November 23, a man was wounded as a result of a drone attack in the village of Oktyabrsky in Belgorod Region. He was taken to a district hospital in serious condition with a penetrating wound to the abdomen and a blind shrapnel wound to his leg.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
