Russian snipers told about the elimination of AFU fighters in the Ser'yanka forest

Soldiers of the sniper unit of the 25th Army of the "West" group of forces eliminate Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) fighters in the Serebryansky Forest. Footage of the Russian military's combat work is at the disposal of Izvestia.

The commander of the Russian Armed Forces sniper squad with the call sign Shaksha noted that Russian fighters are modernizing their camouflage for the terrain.

"We are checking on our own 'birds' what it will look like in general, to go confident that we won't be seen. Of course, we modernize ourselves, we add some things to the elements on the terrain," said a serviceman who works in the Serebryansky forest with a 12.7 mm ACVKM sniper rifle.

According to the deputy commander of the sniper platoon with the call sign Metis, he and his partner had to survive without food and water for almost a week after one of their combat missions because of the danger of being detected by enemy drones. The fighters managed to escape.

As noted by Izvestia correspondent Alexander Fedorchak, now the snipers go out on missions in three, the third is a specialist with new equipment "Harpy" - fights with FPV-drones. The device calculates their frequency and in case of what can even land.

"Begins to determine already so in the area of a kilometer. "Bird" flies, we let them get closer, so that the signal was stronger, and block them. Constant know-how they have, something new, something else appears and we have to adjust everything under them," - added the deputy commander of the platoon of snipers with the call sign Khan.

Earlier, on November 14, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of snipers of the Vostok group of troops from Buryatia on the South Donetsk direction of the North Caucasus Military District. The snipers move in groups of two or three people on foot, or more often by crawling, carrying dozens of kilograms of equipment and weapons.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
