An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 occurred in the waters of Sochi

The earthquake with magnitude 3.3 was recorded on Sunday, November 24, in the water area of Sochi.

According to the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the tremors were observed at 18:33. Their depth reached 5 km, the epicenter is located in the sea at a distance of 7 km southwest of Sochi.

There were no complaints from the population. There is no information about destructions.

Earlier, on November 23, it was reported that on November 24 and 25 in the areas from Magri to Veselogo, as well as in Sochi and in the federal territory "Sirius" is predicted risk of tornadoes. The height of waves will reach 3 meters.
