A member of the Kiev city council from the Golos party and head of the Ulf medical service, Alina Mykhaylova, commenting on the frequent cases of men evading service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), has called to mobilize everyone forcibly. The nardeputy expressed this opinion in an interview with the Ukrainian TV channel TSN on Sunday, November 24.

During the conversation it was discussed that recently in Ukraine the actions of the employees of the TCC (territorial manning center, an analogue of the military enlistment office), who during mobilization forcibly put people on buses and take them away to be sent to the front, began to be called "bussification".

According to Mykhailova, some people believe that there is an opportunity to pay off $5,000 to $10,000, leave the country, or swim across the Tisa River, where Ukraine's border with Romania is located. Mikhailova noted that this should not be the case, Gazeta.Ru adds .

"And in fact absolutely everyone in this country should be 'bussified'. <...> Everyone to the front!" - said the MP during an interview, which was published by the edition "Strana.ua" in Telegram-channel.

Earlier, on November 23, Ukrainian border guards detained four men who evaded conscription in the AFU, who paid $10,000 each to a guide and tried to swim across the Tisa River on an inflatable boat. Administrative reports will be drawn up in respect of the detainees, and the evaders will be held liable according to the law.

Before that, on September 6, Ukrainian evaders attempted to escape to Belarus through a minefield. The State Border Service of Ukraine emphasized that the men "almost blew themselves up."

At the same time, Ukrainian citizens are trying to resist forced mobilization as best they can. For example, in mid-October, women in Transcarpathia tried to overturn a bus of military officers - they started pushing and rocking it. The vehicle still managed to drive away, but the women threw stones after it.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski (term of office expired on May 20) signed the law on toughening mobilization on April 16. The document lists the categories of citizens who are subject to conscription. In addition, it toughens penalties for evading service in the AFU, but there are no provisions on demobilization.

Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended it. Most men aged between 18 and 60 are banned from leaving the country.
